Elementary:
Below are three examples of how virtual reality could be used in an elementary setting in order to engage and assist in the learning process for all students:
Experiential Learning:
Virtual reality allows students to have experiences that they couldn't have done otherwise. Whether it's travelling, examining Space or the inside of an animal cell, students can use virtual reality as a method of learning. Studies have shown that students will be more engaged and possess a deeper understanding of topics when experiencing their learning as opposed to reading or hearing about it (Experiential Learning, 2013).

Gamefication:
Gamefication can be used to motivate and engage reluctant learners. Virtual reality lends itself nicely to gamefication, while also working on building skills that students might have otherwise learned in a more traditional way.

Classroom of the Future?
This final video is an example of how intertwined virtual reality can one day be inside of any classroom. It can be used to be more than just individual students using googles and instead a collaborative experience.
